History of Bear Creek

In 1968, the ski area opened its doors for the first time as Doe Mountain Ski Area with just a t-bar, rope tow and two trails. Overtime, the facility has grown and expanded to 21 trails with 7 lifts. In 1999, Doe Mountain changed ownership. Since that time, it has developed into a year round facility known today as Bear Creek Mountain Resort & Conference Center.

The Macungie Farmers' Market is a producer/grower market committed to providing locally grown, fresh food; to preserving our agricultural heritage; and to building community.  The Market helps support local agriculture by connecting farmers with consumers.  This means that you buy directly from the farmers and artisans themselves, not from third parties or re-sellers. Since all vendors are producing these products
for you, they can often explain best handling and preparation methods and are always willing to offer FREE advice.

The Annual Das Awkscht Fescht Car Show Late July - Early August

Das Awkfest is an annual car show held on
the grounds of Macungie Memorial Park in Magungie, Pennsylvania, next
to the city of Allentown, Pennsylvania. The auto show showcases classic
and antique cars. 

The  Annual Wheels Of Time Rod & Custom Jamboree will be held Every August

The Wheels of Time Annual Rod & Custom Car Jamboree is held every year on the weekend BEFORE Labor Day weekend. This way reservations can be made, vacations taken and all round planning will be easier.
